How to Style Shackets

The infamous comfortable Shacket. Shirt + Jacket = Shacket. Much like a grunge flannel from the 90’s or light jean button-up from the early 2000’s, the shacket is an overshirt. The perfect piece to add to your transitional season attire, to keep you warm in the crisp fall air, and to bring a little bit of comfort when needed, all the while looking completely chic. Shackets are a complete staple of up-and-coming 2021 style, and can be styled in so many ways.

Shackets come in different styles, material, and cuts. Corduroy, Fleece, Waffle knit, Flannel, Sherpa, you name it! The unique thing about Shackets is that they can pretty much be styled with anything. With that being said, here's a few of them that our stylists came up with.

Add a little edge - Layer your Shacket over a comfy graphic tee, pair these with a pair of black jeans, cute casual shoes, and you’ve got an outfit to remember. Perfect for an autumn concert or study session.

Cool & Casual - Style the shacket with your favorite denim, and a henley. Overall giving an Outdoorsy, and comfortable vibe. Perfect for a Bonfire, or a Hike.

Flirty, Fabulous, and Chic - Pair your adorable Shacket with a simple tee dress, and add flare with a thin leather belt. To pull the whole transitional outfit together grab some over the knee boots. Don’t be afraid to accessorize! This look is perfect for the classic Hoop earrings or the in style handmade clay earrings! Perfect for a night out, a day in the office, or a girls night out.

Keep it Cozy - Pull your favorite Shacket over a cropped sweater, a mini-skirt, cute tights, and boots. Layering up is always a must for those chilly autumn days, and this outfit is perfect for a diverse yet flirty feel. Perfect for a day at a museum, or a first date.
