Denim is classic, but it doesn't have to be so boring!
Denim should be a staple in every woman's closet... from age 10 to 100. The key to keeping your denim wardrobe stylish (and not reminiscent of a cowboy) is to mix it up! Try a different shade than a classic dark ... gray washed, white, or black. And mix up the styles too... never limit your denim to simply jeans.. Add a denim jacket and dress to expand your classics.
Here are some of our favorite styled looks for back-to-school (we are talking to you too, teachers!)
Why we love this look: we are floral fiends! Avoid that JT/Britney denim look by breaking up your jean button-up with patterned leggings. We know, floral leggings seem risky, but this fall, DO IT. Add an eclectic necklace too...
Why we love this look: This look is perfectly casual and comfy, but a knockout. Distressed denim is back, so pull it out of your 2008 closet or buy a new pair! Pair it with a matte-colored tee and a light denim jacket.
Why we love this look: We love the way this denim jacket transforms a summer look into fall-worthy! This is especially helpful for teachers wanting to transform their summer gear into something cute, casual, comfortable, yet still work appropriate.
Why we love this look: it is timeless and easy. Don't want to fuss about putting an outfit together? Just throw on a denim dress and be done! It is soft and lightweight... Wear them now with sandals and in the winter with some leggings, boots, and a chunky cardigan.
